What to expect during Lip Enhancements procedure?

Various techniques are performed to achieve different styles and looks. After fully assessing the clients lips we will proceed with your treatment while continually monitoring the client to make sure you are comfortable. The treatment is performed using a medical grade fine sterile needle consisting of several injection points. Slight bleeding may occur during the procedure this is perfectly normal. The treatment takes approximately 30-60 minutes.

What are the risks associated with dermal filler treatment?

Dermal Filler treatments are very safe, with minimal side effects or risks, this is provided the treatment is performed by a fully qualified and trained practitioner. Common temporary side effects can include mild pain, swelling and redness “erythema” at the injection sites and mild bruising which will soon ease and fade. A run through of massage techniques will be demonstrated in case of lumps/nodules appearing in the lips.

Will the treatment be painful?

The use of skin cooling with a cold pack or a topical local anaesthetic cream will minimise any discomfort during the treatment. Juvederm and Revolax both contain lidocaine (a numbing agent) so as the practitioner is performing your treatment your lips will numb further, this is totally normal and safe.

When will I see the results?

Lip augmentation using either Juvederm or Revolax produces instant results.

How long will the results last?

The results will last approximately 6-9 months with a repeat treatment required at this stage to maintain results.

After every treatment, a full in-depth after care leaflet will be given to every client. We are always on hand to answer any questions or concerns and to give advice or follow up appointments to all our clients.
