Aromatherapy Pre-Blended Oils Course

The art of aromatherapy involves the use of essential oils, in order to help improve both the physical and emotional well-being of a client, by treating the whole person.

The basis of aromatherapy is the use of essential oils, and their ability to be absorbed into the blood stream through the skin or respiratory system. These oils initiate chemical changes through their reactions with hormones and enzymes, affecting both body and mind.

This course will teach you everything you need to know in order to carry out a professional aromatherapy treatment using pre-blended oils. You must have a previous massage qualification in order to take the course.

The course is completed entirely online in your own time. This means that GTi gives you flexible learning designed to fit in around your lifestyle. Full tutorial support is available throughout your learning experience.

The GTi Aromatherpy Using Pre-Blended Oils course describes all the characteristics of the essential and carrier oils as well as describing how you can incorporate aromatherapy into your massage treatments.

The course also covers the history and theories behind the treatment as well as reception and consultation and how to recognise any contra-indications to treatment.

The course is beautifully written and accompanied by full-colour images and diagrams to give you the best possible learning experience.

The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body, for membership and insurance purposes. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a full-colour certificate for a GTi Award in Aromatherapy.
