Semi-Permanent Classic Lash Course
Eyelash extensions have taken the beauty industry by storm, this is a popular treatment to add to your services whether its salon based or mobile. Classic lashes are a single 1D eyelash extension made of synthetic material applied individually to the natural lash which lasts up to 12 weeks, giving your clients added volume, thickness, curl and length to the natural lash.
This course is combined theory and practical, you will be guided how to consult with your client, how to adapt your treatment to different eye shapes. It’s important to use a variety of techniques such as eye mapping/taping as no two clients are the same. You will understand lengths, thicknesses for an individual’s lash structure. We will talk through types of lashes on the market, mink, cashmere and silk. During the course you will carry out this treatment upon a professional mannequin head to gain the necessary skills.
This course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers the technique for eyelash extension application, correct removal and maintenance of lashes. The course includes anatomy and physiology of the hair and eye, contra-indications and contra-actions to treatment, consultation and aftercare advice.
The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body, for membership and insurance purposes. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a full-colour certificate for a GTi Award in Eyelash Extension Treatments.
The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.
